Job Description
Northland Community and Technical College is seeking a Radiologic Technology Program Director and Instructor. The Radiologic Technology Program Director and Instructor has responsibilities for the day-to-day oversight of the program operations. The faculty member's teaching assignment is reduced by annual agreement to dedicate time to program director duties. Northland's Radiographic Technology program is an accredited member of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and complies with all JRCERT guidelines and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
Master's degree per JRCERT accreditation.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered technologist.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Professional Requirement
Certified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualification
Have a minimum of two years' teaching experience
Coursework in teaching pedagogies and preparation in principles and methods of evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Knowledge of instructional methods, student assessment, and evaluation practices
