JOB SUMMARY:
Lead the International FP&A effort to improve profit transparency and decision support in service of fueling global profitable growth. Act as a key liaison between US-based and Int'l-based Finance and Operational teams ensuring common tools and consistent approaches. Responsible for planning, forecasting and allocating International costs that originate in the US. Supports International markets and Strategic Business Units (SBUs), providing consolidated financial insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving value creation through strategic partnership with business leaders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is a key finance leadership role with significant visibility to the International leadership team and actively partners with cross-functional global team members. This role is responsible for helping advance FP&A processes, tools and analytics across a matrixed global environment.
Support core financial processes for International operations including Annual Budget, Long Range Plan, Monthly Operating Reviews, and Forecasts
Partner with International Finance leaders and SIOP team on analysis and communication of global financial performance, including risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to improve business outcomes
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including variance analysis of actuals vs. budget and forecast
Partner with International business leaders to support strategic initiatives, enabling informed decision-making and value creation
Complete complex financial modeling and analysis to evaluate business opportunities, investments (ROI/NPV), and cost optimization initiatives
Facilitate financial review meetings with business partners to ensure alignment on financial performance, cost management, and operational execution
Drive process improvements across FP&A including tools, systems, and standardization to improve efficiency and insight generation
Evaluate financial performance across revenue, margin, operating expenses, capital, and inventory, highlighting key trends and opportunities
Collaborate across global teams and SBUs to align financial assumptions, planning processes, and reporting frameworks
Manage multiple priorities and special projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles
Proven experience leading financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Experience influencing and partnering with senior leadership in a strategic capacity
Experience working in a global or matrixed business environment preferred
Strong business acumen and ability to drive change and process improvements
Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills required
Experience with financial systems and planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx) preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Dynamic, fast-paced global team environment with cross-functional and international collaboration. Some travel may be required.
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $140,000 to $175,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
