Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in driving business development and marketing initiatives by developing proposals, managing client outreach, and supporting firmwide branding efforts. This position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to create compelling materials, maintain the CRM database, and help win new work. The role is ideal for a marketing professional with strong communication skills, excellent organization, and a passion for the built environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategies and outreach activities that support business development goals.
Support client outreach efforts, including networking, email campaigns, social media initiatives, meeting preparation, and follow-up communication.
Maintain and manage the Zoho CRM database, including contact records, opportunity tracking, and data integrity.
Track, evaluate, and coordinate responses to RFQs, RFPs, and interview opportunities.
Assist in developing proposals, qualifications packages, and client presentations that clearly communicate the firm's value.
Maintain and update marketing materials, including project descriptions, visual and narrative assets, and social graphics.
Collaborate with internal teams to create clear, compelling project narratives and case studies.
Support branding initiatives, award submissions, and general marketing and business development efforts.
Analyze business development activities to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and uncover growth opportunities.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in business development, marketing, or communications.
Proven experience developing proposals, qualifications packages, or client presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for creating and formatting marketing and proposal materials.
Experience using AI platforms to support marketing or content creation activities.
Experience working with CRM systems, with Zoho strongly preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work closely with firm leadership.
Experience working with RFQs, RFPs, and proposal development processes.
Business development experience, including client outreach and relationship support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or real estate industry settings.
Specific experience managing or maintaining Zoho CRM, including contacts and opportunity pipelines.
Strong networking and relationship-building strengths, both internally and externally.
Interest or curiosity in architecture, design, branding, and the built environment.
Familiarity with marketing in a design-driven or AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) @context.
Comfort working with visual and narrative content to support brand and project storytelling.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in a Midtown Manhattan studio.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
