The (USA) Exterior Services Technician, DOT Operator - DS is responsible for managing and executing exterior facility maintenance projects, including landscaping, snow removal, and equipment upkeep. This role involves budgeting, sourcing materials, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. The technician coordinates with internal teams and third-party providers to maintain quality and safety standards while optimizing operational costs. What you'll do:
Prepare and execute budgets by developing cost estimates for planned projects and approve purchases of parts, materials, and equipment.
Manage internal projects by prioritizing work assignments and developing scopes of work to update facility assets.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following established safety and environmental guidelines.
Lead third-party providers through coaching and performance evaluations while conducting quality assurance inspections.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns by communicating effectively with facility users.
Source and verify materials, tools, and equipment to support repairs and upgrades.
Maintain work environments according to company policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience managing projects, including planning, prioritizing, and executing work assignments efficiently.
Strong budgeting skills with the ability to develop cost estimates and control expenses.
Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance.
Ability to source, verify, and approve materials and equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Effective communication and leadership skills to coach third-party providers and collaborate with stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
21 years of age or older.
Valid, state-issued driver's license.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification at a minimum of a 90 day card.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language
