As a Security Guard - Logistics in Summerville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and support access management while providing outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and professional interactions. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Mon06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

Tue06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

Wed06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

Thur06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

Fri06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a busy logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access and orderly movement throughout the location.

Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
