Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees weekend production and warehouse operations, ensuring that products are manufactured and delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. This role manages shift activities, coordinates resources, and leads a manufacturing team while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The supervisor drives continuous improvement, supports employee development, and ensures clear communication between weekend and weekday shifts to maintain seamless workflow continuity.
Responsibilities
Manage weekend shift operations by coordinating and allocating resources efficiently during non-standard working hours.
Foster effective communication between the weekend shift and the day shift by providing clear instructions, updates, and reports to ensure smooth handovers and workflow continuity.
Plan, organize, and supervise the production activities of the manufacturing group to meet production targets and quality standards.
Manage the production work schedule so that products are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality requirements.
Uphold and exemplify company values by leading by example and adhering to all work rules, procedures, and policies.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and leading personnel on the proper use of control points, equipment, and resources, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Identify and report safety concerns to the manufacturing manager and follow up on corrections as required.
Communicate job expectations clearly to team members and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Plan, monitor, and appraise job results to ensure individual and team performance aligns with production goals.
Set employee work schedules and production goals, establish work priorities, and resolve problems to minimize impacts on schedules and budgets.
Implement continuous improvement activities and projects aimed at increasing productivity and reducing waste and inefficiencies on the shop floor.
Develop and recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, or procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Manage training schedules for employees to increase core competencies and ensure effective onboarding and training of new employees.
Assist in maintaining appropriate staffing levels by supporting recruiting efforts and coordinating training for manufacturing employees.
Monitor department budgets and ensure that resources are allocated properly and used efficiently.
Prepare and monitor reports related to production, safety, and budgets, and use this information to guide decision-making.
Monitor the performance of all manufacturing employees and conduct performance reviews, coaching, and discipline as necessary.
Complete tasks and projects assigned by the Operations Manager in support of operational goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet production targets and handle multiple tasks.
Experience supervising employees on a manufacturing or warehouse floor and ensuring their safety.
Demonstrated ability to manage production work schedules to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
Capability to maintain a safe and clean work environment and enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
Experience in setting work schedules, establishing production goals, and resolving operational issues.
Ability to implement and support continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Skills in preparing, reviewing, and monitoring production, safety, and budget reports.
Experience monitoring employee performance, conducting performance reviews, and providing coaching and discipline when needed.
Comfort working in a loud manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, and vibration.
Ability to stand or walk frequently and perform physical activities such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working within a quality management system in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Background in scheduling and budgeting for production operations.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and shop floor efficiency initiatives.
Experience managing or contributing to training programs for manufacturing employees.
Ability to develop and recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, or procedures.
Comfort using basic office and reporting tools to track production, safety, and budget metrics.
Work Environment
Work takes place in both an office and a production floor environment within a manufacturing plant. The role requires regular presence on the shop floor, where there may be exposure to heat and cold caused by the environment and equipment, as well as loud noise and vibration. While performing job duties, the employee regularly uses hands to touch, handle, or feel; reaches with hands and arms; and may stoop, kneel, or crouch. Frequent standing and walking are required. This is a full-time position that supports a production schedule of Friday through Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime or additional shift coverage as needed to meet operational requirements. No specific dress code is stated, but appropriate attire for a manufacturing and warehouse environment is expected to support safety and comfort.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
