Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role is a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician position in a high-speed production laundry facility, focused on keeping complex equipment running efficiently and minimizing downtime. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing both electrical and mechanical maintenance on a variety of industrial laundry systems and supporting continuous production operations.
Shift and Pay
First: 7 am - 4 pm
Second: 4 pm -11 pm
Third: 11pm - 7 am
$25-35/hr based on experience
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial laundry equipment, including electrical and mechanical components, to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, sensors, relays, and control systems to support reliable automated processes.
Perform preventive maintenance on tunnel washers, dryers, conveyors, and ironers according to established schedules and procedures.
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and electrical systems to maintain and improve equipment performance.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to guide troubleshooting and repair activities.
Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed to restore or modify equipment components.
Partner closely with production personnel to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and support safe, reliable operations.
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and process efficiency.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting, including sensors, relays, and control systems.
Demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance on tunnel washers, dryers, conveyors, and ironers.
Practical experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics in an industrial setting.
Knowledge of motors, drives, and electrical systems used in high-speed production equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience using a CMMS to manage and document maintenance work orders and repairs.
Capability to perform welding and fabrication repairs safely and effectively.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on industrial environment focused on equipment uptime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in maintaining industrial laundry equipment or similar high-volume processing equipment.
Experience with boiler maintenance in an industrial setting.
Familiarity with high-speed production environments and continuous process operations.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with production and maintenance teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Work Environment
This position is based in a high-volume laundry production facility with high-speed, continuous operations. The equipment you support includes conveyor systems, industrial dryers, and tunnel systems, along with associated electrical and mechanical components. Shifts may vary, with coverage needed for 07:00-16:00, 16:00-23:00, and 23:00-07:00, so flexibility to work different shifts is important. The work is hands-on and physically active, often requiring time on the production floor around running machinery and moving equipment. You will use industrial tools, welding and fabrication equipment, and a CMMS to perform and document maintenance activities in a structured, safety-focused environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
