The MAP (Market Analysis & Planning) team is a critical engine behind that work-developing the forward-looking intelligence, market models, and fact base that inform some of the company's most important strategic decisions.
We're looking for someone who thrives on turning ambiguity into clarity-someone who combines deep analytical rigor with strong business judgment and wants to directly influence where markets and the business are heading.
The Opportunity
On the PS MAP team, you will play a central role in driving the company's strategic direction , ensuring the business remains competitive and adaptable in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
You will develop strategic recommendations by leading the synthesis of complex data, in-depth market and business analysis, and rigorous hypothesis testing -ensuring well-informed, high-quality strategic decisions.
This role operates at the intersection of insight and action-working across large, cross-functional teams and collaborating with business leaders to align strategy with organizational goals and drive execution.
What You'll Do
Develop market insights that drive strategy
Build advanced methodologies, frameworks, and processes for market sizing and forecasting
Analyze market research and third-party insights to extrapolate future technology trends
Investigate key market drivers and develop assumptions on future market directions
Translate complex and ambiguous data into clear, structured insights
Create a trusted, fact-based point of view
Triangulate multiple data sources through deep analysis and validation to form a credible, defensible perspective
Identify key drivers impacting technology markets and pressure-test assumptions
Ensure analytical rigor and consistency across all outputs
Lead complex analytical workstreams
Independently structure analytical approaches and define methodologies for large, complex strategy projects
Identify the right research, tools, and analyses required to answer high-impact business questions
Develop strategies, tactics, and recommendations to optimize business and financial performance
Apply strategic and consulting frameworks, including portfolio approaches, to evaluate markets, products, and investments
Drive execution through cross-functional collaboration
Facilitate large, cross-functional teams and communications to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
Lead the development of project guidelines, objectives, deliverables, and contingency plans
Drive ongoing follow-ups to ensure accountability and progress on strategic priorities
Influence and partner with senior stakeholders
Serve as a thought partner and advisor on strategy formulation, risk management, and growth opportunities
Collaborate across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy with corporate and divisional priorities
Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to executive audiences
Elevate how the team operates
Provide thought leadership by advancing methodologies, tools, and approaches for strategy development
Contribute to building a best-in-class market intelligence capability

What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, market intelligence, market research, or data analysis
Deep expertise in market sizing, forecasting, and analytical problem-solving
Proven ability to operate independently and lead complex work in ambiguous environments
Strong hypothesis-driven thinking and structured problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations
Experience influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven narratives
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
