Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing and process development, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the R&D and Supply Chain support team supporting the Pilot Plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Trumbull, CT

Pay Range: $37

What's the Job?

Participate and advise in the design, engineering, and risk assessments of new manufacturing facilities, including FEED, HAZOP, and FMEA studies.

Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering, Planning, Quality, and R&D teams to meet project milestones and network timings.

Conduct design and robustness studies in the pilot plant, exploring novel routes to optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Utilize digital platforms to capture technical data for statistical analysis and visualization.

Support process validation, equipment commissioning, and scale-up activities to ensure smooth transition into production.

What's Needed?

A degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry with a strong technical background.

Experience supporting manufacturing or pilot plant operations, preferably in a technical or engineering role.

Knowledge of process safety, hygiene standards, and risk management practices.

Ability to develop detailed technical drawings, SOPs, and process specifications.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and visualization tools.
