Why Work Here?
Employees benefit from a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that supports both financial security and work-life balance. The medical benefits include a very low $300 deductible, helping keep healthcare costs manageable. A 6% profit-sharing program allows employees to share in the company's success, while a 401(k) plan with a 2% match supports long-term retirement savings. Paid time off is generous, with 3 weeks of vacation after one year of service, plus additional sick time that brings total paid time off to approximately 4 weeks. The culture emphasizes rewarding hard work, providing stable schedules, and offering opportunities to grow skills in a hands-on, team-oriented manufacturing setting.
Work Environment
The role is based in a large manufacturing facility that includes both indoor and outdoor work areas. Portions of the facility are air-conditioned, but most of the workspace is not, so employees should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. The schedule typically consists of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with the potential to work up to 10 hours of overtime per week depending on production needs. The standard shift runs from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the possibility of extended hours from around 5:00 a.m. to 4:00-5:00 p.m. when required. The environment is hands-on and equipment-intensive, with frequent use of hand and power tools, band saws, press brakes, plate rollers, and other fabrication and assembly machinery.
