Summary You will serve as an Administrative Specialist at the GG-11 grade level responsible for providing direct support to the Commander's Action Group (CAG) Lead at Sufflock, VA. Responsibilities You will manage and coordinate a wide range of administrative and executive support level functions. You will utilize administrative management and the identification and implementation of best practices in executive support services required to sufficiently advise and assist executive staff in nontechnical matters. You will coordinate high-level executive administrative support, answer phones, set up conference calls, and arrange video teleconferences. You will prioritize, develop, assemble, and review appropriate daily briefing books, memorandums, and information/read-ahead packages to facilitate productive meetings and timely decision-making. You will provide applicable executive summaries, interpretation of policy implications, and cogent recommendations pertaining to content. You will make arrangements for and greet official visitors scheduled to meet with the executive staff. You will make necessary arrangements for domestic and international travel for the executive staff. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Manage and coordinate a wide range of administrative and executive support level functions and the efforts of the executive staff to ensure that all assignments, messages, and materials are correctly communicated and completed and in a timely manner. 2. Oversee, prepare, and review executive correspondence to provide summaries or recommendations or to coordinate the submission and return of official documents. 3. Coordinate and maintain all daily and long-range calendars, schedule video teleconferences, reserve rooms, and prepare read ahead documents/daily briefing books to facilitate productive meetings and timely decision-making. 4. Make domestic and international travel arrangements for the staff by ensuring that all documents, travel orders, visas, and vouchers are properly prepared and reimbursements are submitted. 5. Establish and maintain up-to-date electronic and paper file and record keeping management systems. OR I have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR I have 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR I have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
