Kelly Services, in Partnership with Greene County, MO, is Hiring Bipartisan Absentee Election Judges
Assignment Dates: June 23, 2026 - August 3, 2026
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Position Overview
Kelly Services is partnering with Greene County, Missouri, to recruit Bipartisan Absentee Election Judges for the upcoming election season. In this temporary role, you will serve as a deputized employee of the Greene County Clerk's Office and play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, accurate, and secure absentee voting process. Election Judges work in bipartisan teams to assist voters, administer absentee voting procedures, and support election preparation activities in accordance with Missouri election laws.
Key Responsibilities
Absentee Voting Operations
Check in voters using electronic poll books.
Verify voter eligibility and issue absentee ballots.
Assist with curbside voting services.
Guide and support voters using the ExpressVote Ballot Marking Device.
Set up and close assigned absentee voting locations daily.
Reconcile voter check-in records with ballots cast and document any discrepancies.
Election Preparation & Administrative Support
Organize, audit, and prepare precinct binders and election materials.
Sort and organize sample ballots and Braille sample ballots by precinct.
Assist with auditing and preparing electronic poll books.
Pack and audit election supply bags and equipment.
Transfer and verify election seal numbers and chain-of-custody documentation.
Assist with final audits of precinct supplies, ballots, and voting equipment.
Support absentee mail ballot processing and preparation.
Assist with election judge recruitment calls.
Support testing, qualification, and preparation of election equipment.
Participate in pre-election logic and accuracy testing.
Perform other election-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Comfortable using technology, including tablets, touchscreens, and electronic voting equipment.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
Ability to work professionally and collaboratively as part of a bipartisan team.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and move materials weighing 30-50 pounds.
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Occasional standing, walking, and bending.
