Job Specifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Portage, MI

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department or individual.

Manage word processing, filing, faxing, and answering phones.

Receive and direct visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Schedule meetings and conferences, coordinating all necessary logistics.

Maintain financial records and assist in the procurement of supplies.

Sort and distribute mail efficiently.

Work on special projects as assigned.

Maintain accurate case documentation in a service center environment.

Monitor, update, and manage shared email boxes daily.

Generate, route, and file required documents according to established schedules.

Respond to routine departmental inquiries and general customer requests.

Upload documentation into various systems, including record retention systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

1+ year of experience in an administrative role; experience in worker's compensation or leaves of absence administration is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with case management systems or complex data management programs preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to take initiative, learn new processes, and improve existing workflows.

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Strong customer service orientation and dedication to supporting team goals.
