JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job#: 3037247 Job Description: Our Client is looking for an Accountant, based in Milwaukee, Wi. Job Description: Accountant independently performs financial accounting functions and related control activities for assigned products and processes to ensure conformance with statutory accounting standards. Ensures the accuracy of the accounting generated by numerous systems as well as any manual accounting. Will research and resolve reconciliation issues, imbalances, and open suspense items. Accountant will participate in monthly close processes and the processing of journal entries, reconciliations, and other analyses. Accountant will also assist in a large scale corporate project, which will require the creation of new accounts, reports, and processes. This will also require testing of system changes and its impact on accounting. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting 4 + years of experience in accounting or alike industry Ability to go 3 times a week to the office (Milwaukee, Wi) Technical Skills: It is necessary to know how to do journal entries(credits/debits) and understand accounting principles and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance. The candidate has to be able to organize and prioritize their task while working in dynamic environment. The candidate has to be technology savvy and know how to work with: Excel: Ability to maintain and manipulate a worksheet accurately. Outlook: Email and calendaring.
