Role summary:
As a Principal Product Manager at Walmart, you will lead product strategy across a broad portfolio, driving organization-wide decisions through deep expertise and data-driven insights. About the team:
Walmart eCommerce's Velocity Pods are innovative, cross-functional teams combining product, engineering, business, and design to accelerate product delivery using AI-driven methods. This model eliminates traditional handoffs, enabling seamless collaboration where product managers, designer, business and engineers work closely in shared @contexts. The team has demonstrated rapid success, launching autonomous solutions and advancing roadmap items ahead of schedule. Expanding this approach, the team seeks product managers who thrive in an environment focused on ownership, data-driven decisions, and strategic product development to drive impactful outcomes at an accelerated pace leveraging AI tools.
What you'll do:
Shape and drive product strategy across multiple related products, leveraging deep domain expertise and data-driven insights.
Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
Leverage AI tools to build products and rapidly test hypothesis
Establish and promote best practices in product management, elevating standards across teams.
Guide product lifecycle from MVP development through launch and ongoing optimization using AI tools, telemetry and analytics.
Influence enterprise decisions through compelling data-backed narratives and stakeholder engagement.
Mentor product managers and contribute to organizational capability building, especially in regards to leveraging AI tools for Prdocut Management
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in defining and evolving product strategies across multiple related products or large product areas.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives using data-driven insights and domain expertise.
Strong skills in building with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, etc.
Technical depth to carry architectural conversations with engineering or an LLM
Expertise in stakeholder management, influencing senior leadership through compelling narratives and data-backed storytelling.
Proficiency in applying advanced analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to guide product decisions.
Demonstrated capability to mentor peers and elevate product management practices across teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
