Job Title: Finance Manager
Job Description
The Finance Manager leads several key financial areas within a joint venture, with primary responsibility for pricing controls for new business, review and approval of commissions, oversight of the cash application team, and coordination of fundings with the treasury function. This role collaborates closely with a broader finance organization to support the preparation of financial statements, manage budgeting processes, and develop board presentation materials. The Finance Manager also works directly with leadership, including a major strategic partner's leadership team, and reports to the Managing Director of the joint venture.
Responsibilities
Own and lead pricing controls for new business, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing of financial products.
Conduct detailed pricing analysis and financial analysis to support business decisions and profitability targets.
Review and approve commissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance with policies, and alignment with financial objectives.
Oversee the cash application team, ensuring timely and accurate application of cash and resolution of discrepancies.
Coordinate fundings with the treasury group, managing timing, accuracy, and documentation for all funding activities.
Collaborate with the broader finance organization to assist in preparing financial statements and related reports.
Support and help manage budgeting processes, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of budget materials.
Prepare and refine board presentation slides, including financial dashboards and key performance indicators, for joint venture board meetings.
Engage directly with the leadership team of a strategic partner, providing financial insights, updates, and recommendations.
Lead and develop team members, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to build capability and performance.
Prepare dashboards and other reporting tools to share financial results, trends, and actions with stakeholders.
Contribute to the syndication of deals and funding structures, ensuring financial and operational requirements are met.
Apply end-to-end leasing and finance sector knowledge to improve processes, controls, and financial outcomes.
Communicate effectively across functions and geographies to support a collaborative, cross-cultural work environment.
Essential Skills
Several years of experience in finance roles, with a strong focus on pricing expertise.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a finance or related environment.
Demonstrated experience in pricing of financial products, including pricing analysis and controls.
Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actions based on insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
Experience with syndication of deals and funding processes in a financial services or leasing @context.
Experience in commission calculation and review, including policy application and accuracy checks.
Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prepare and interpret dashboards and performance reports.
Experience and knowledge in the end-to-end leasing and finance sector.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
CPA qualification preferred or equivalent professional accounting designation.

Experience in joint venture or partnership environments, particularly where multiple stakeholders share financial responsibilities.
Comfort working directly with leadership and presenting financial information in a clear, concise manner.

Experience contributing to or supporting board-level presentations and materials.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across pricing, commissions, cash application, and funding activities.

The pay range for this position is $103000.00 - $129000.00/yr.
