Duties: [The Service and Aftermarket Engineer at Junker, Inc. in Canton, OH, will provide customer support (troubleshooting) of North American installed base of Otto Junker's equipment. Perform cost estimating, quoting, performance, and management of Service Department. Assist with Cap-Ex sales team for North American projects. Provide field service for unique troubleshooting of OEM equipment (induction related components). ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[Handle aftermarket sales and sales consultations for Junker furnaces, spare ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[parts, and technical services. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[Expand Otto Junker's aftermarket footprint in North America with supporting projects. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[A]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[ssist with commissioning (start-up), repairs and maintenance of induction melting furnaces. Conduct training for customers' technicians regarding operation and maintenance of furnaces. Assist the company with the recruitment of technicians and to develop and set-up a service team that can provide comprehensive coverage of the growing U.S. market. Provide in-depth and hands-on training to technicians, on Junker technology, the large portfolio of ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[Junker ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[components and the quality standards and installation procedures set by ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[Junker.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}[ Up to 50% travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Germany. ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Minimum Requirements: [10 years of professional experience as an Engineer, Supervisor, Technician, or related occupation with large scale industrial furnace installations. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: 1) Facility installation of Induction Melting Systems (IMS), including Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical Assembly; 2) Aftermarket technical support for IMS; 3) Commissioning, operating, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of water re-cooling systems, hydraulic power units, and converter systems equipped with insulated-gate bipolar transistor and silicon-controlled rectifier; 4) Operating and troubleshooting IMS using Siemens and Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) programmable logic controller (PLC); 5) Developing Micro-PLC systems for small process operations including water re-cooling systems and human machine interface; and (6) supporting Melting operators and Technicians, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of IMS.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
