Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
This role oversees electrical installations on commercial projects, with a strong focus on conduit work, wiring, and lighting systems. You lead field activities, ensure safe and compliant installations from 120 to 480 volts, and guide a team to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
Responsibilities
Install and wire lighting systems, panels, boxes, outlets, and related electrical components for commercial projects.
Plan and run conduit routes, including measuring, cutting, and bending conduit to specifications for 120-480 volt systems.
Perform conduit bending using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure clean, accurate, and code-compliant installations.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to lay out and execute installations correctly.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and circuits to diagnose issues and implement effective repairs.
Coordinate and lead daily field activities to ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
Verify that all electrical work meets applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Use hand tools and cordless drills to assemble, install, and secure electrical equipment and conduit.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, and material needs.
Essential Skills
3-10 years of electrical experience in commercial or similar environments.
Proficiency in bending conduit and running conduit for 120-480 volt systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
Hands-on experience with wiring lighting, panels, boxes, and outlets.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and circuits.
OSHA 30 certification.
Ownership of hand tools and a cordless drill suitable for daily electrical work.
Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and compliance requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in office building environments.
Previous experience leading or coordinating field electrical work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
Reliable transportation to job sites on Long Island.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, field-based role with a typical schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work primarily takes place in Long Island office buildings and similar commercial facilities. You work with standard electrical tools and equipment, including hand tools, cordless drills, and conduit bending tools, while handling systems in the 120-480 volt range. The environment requires consistent adherence to safety standards and OSHA guidelines, with a focus on working efficiently and professionally on active job sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
