Job Description:
Join GDIT as an Enterprise Solutions Architect specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support the HHS Office of Inspector General. Based in Northern Virginia or Maryland, you'll lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions for a federal agency committed to public health and integrity. You will apply technical knowledge and expertise across multiple teams to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create solution roadmaps, drive POCs/MVPS, and ensure long term technical viability of cloud migrations, leveraging key technologies where appropriate.
NOTE : This position is contingent upon contract award.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:
Ideate, architect, and implement AWS cloud infrastructure and application platforms for HHS OIG's IT modernization initiatives.
Apply patterns for resiliency, security, and interoperability within a multi-cloud hybrid environment.
Develop technical roadmaps, drive proof of concepts and ensure long-term viability of cloud migrations.
Collaborate with government and team members to meet program goals and deliverables.
Maintain compliance with federal standards, including FedRAMP and NIST guidelines.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
Bring your expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT must have:
Citizenship: US Citizen (must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship at time of offer accept)
Security Clearance level: Public Trust clearance required; must pass a background check
Certification(s): AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Engineering, or related field
Years' Experience: At least 8+ years of experience
Technical Skills:
Experience in AI and Data Analytics (e.g. AWS certifications in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Data Engineer, etc.)
At least 10 years of experience ideating, architecting, consulting, designing, developing, leading, and delivering cloud infrastructure and cloud application platform technology solutions over the entire lifecycle of large scale, multi-team, complex enterprise projects.
At least 8 years of experience in more than one of the following technical domains: Core Infrastructure, Application Development, Data and Analytics, and Low Code/No Code.
Skills & Abilities:
Technical leadership, attention to detail, effective communicator
Ability to drive innovation and adapt to evolving requirements
Location: HYBRID - Preferred in-office presence 3x/week (Northern Virginia or Maryland). A maximum of 20% of the work will be conducted at the Government site in Washington, DC.

The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
