Robert Half is partnering with a BUSY law firm in the Greater Portland Area to identify a Litigation Attorney who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of matters involving insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and construction defect claims.

Prepare and revise pleadings, answers, motions, briefs, and other case documents with strong attention to legal accuracy and deadlines.

Conduct legal research and apply findings to support litigation strategy, motion practice, and case development.

Review discovery materials, draft written responses, and identify important evidence relevant to liability and damages issues.

Meet directly with clients and insured parties to gather case details, provide updates, and support ongoing defense strategy.

Requirements

Requirements:

Active Washington attorney license required

At least 2 years of litigation experience, with prior work in personal injury matters strongly preferred.

Background in personal injury or insurance defense, including motion drafting, briefing, discovery, and legal research.

The salary range for this position is $75-90/hr DOE. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
