Industrial Painter

Paying $22 / HR to $28/ HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

Prepare and paint a variety of surfaces including aluminum, ferrous metal, stainless steel, and other surfaces as specified; protect and prime surfaces as appropriate; apply finish coatings to Mil Spec requirements.

Assist to appropriately rig large objects for the purpose of moving them in the process of applying the industrial coatings

Be familiar with the various @types of metal abrasive treatments such as media -blasting, chemical etching, degreasers, etc.

Painter will spray surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as enamel, acrylic, or epoxy.

Selecting and mixing coating paints to desired color and prepare spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray guns.

Maintaining the paint mix room while following the company safety policies.

Read and assess production information for required specification details

Qualifications:

Previous experience with Press Pot pray system a plus but not required

Experience calculating MILS / paint thickness

Experience with metals prep

Environment/ Shift:

Very clean machine shop, new and organized tooling, motivated crew that believes in teamwork and making each other better.

Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pm (OT on Fridays are common)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
