Job Title: Medical Device Assembler 21/hr

Job Description

The Assembler I position involves using a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to accurately assemble and test medical devices. This role requires working under direct supervision to ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.

Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.

Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Microscope experience is required, with the ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift.

Proficiency in small part assembly and strong communication skills.

Minimum of 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience using a microscope.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 to 2 years of medical device assembly experience preferred.

Experience in a cleanroom environment is advantageous.

Familiarity with hand tools, measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, and electrical assembly.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom 100% of the time during the first shift, which runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with additional Saturday hours from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Candidates must be open to working Saturdays when needed. The role involves working in close stations within the manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
