Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay: $21.39 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Industrial Painter / Blaster to support a global innovator in industrial automation. Role Overview

As an Industrial Painter / Blaster, you will prepare and finish metal parts used in advanced manufacturing. Your work ensures surfaces are properly treated and protected, contributing to the performance and longevity of essential equipment. This role offers structured training, with growth from blasting into painting responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

Apply coatings such as paint, varnish, enamel, stain, or lacquer to protect and finish surfaces

Operate in a blast booth to remove rust, debris, and existing coatings from metal parts

Prepare surfaces using sandpaper, brushes, scrapers, and other tools

Follow work orders and supervisor instructions to meet production and quality standards

Inspect surfaces to ensure they are clean, smooth, and ready for finishing

Maintain a safe work environment while handling high-pressure blasting equipment

Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial setting

Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Dependable with a safety-first mindset

Preferred:

Experience in industrial painting, blasting, or manufacturing

Familiarity with tools or mechanical processes

Work Environment & Schedule

Industrial setting working with metal materials and equipment

Blast booth work requires wearing a full-body enclosed suit with supplied air

Physically active role involving high-pressure blasting equipment

Consistent full-time hours with potential overtime based on business needs

Pay Details: $21.39 per hour
