About the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA):

IDOA helps to ensure the smooth function of state government, finding efficient and effective solutions to government-wide needs.

Role Overview:

IDOA Facilities Management provides facilities services to the IGC Campus and satellite facilities. This includes building maintenance, custodial services and contract services. This program coordinator role provides the purchasing and inventory support for the facility maintenance teams. Utilizing PeopleSoft Financials, MS Excel and Maintenance Care to ensure timely and accurate material inventories are maintained. Material orders for team projects is also a critical role for the program coordinator. Working with the approved State vendors to provide materials at the lowest cost and shortest leadtime.

Salary:

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

Research and compile information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policies.

Answer basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.

Establish, organize, and maintain current and historical files related to the program.

Collect information to help in the preparation of program reports, develop applications, prepare budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.

Maintain, organize, and monitor program assets.

Schedule, prepare, and disseminate all program related training materials.

What You'll Need for Success:

Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following:

General knowledge of the program area.

Working knowledge of applicable legislation, guidelines, agency policy and professional standards and practices.

Ability to research and compile specific topics related to program area.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.

Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.

Specialized knowledge of accounting principles.

A degree is not required.

Individuals should have the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
