What You'll Do
Assemble precision sheet metal components and finished units used across multiple industries
Install hardware including rivets, bolts, and fasteners using pneumatic and hand tools
Read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and SOPs to ensure accurate builds
Perform basic electrical assembly and low-voltage wiring when needed
Work with tight-tolerance parts , ensuring top-level quality and precision
Measure parts using tape measures and basic tools to verify specifications
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and air tools in daily tasks
Support final steps like packaging, wrapping, and palletizing products
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Collaborate with the team while also working independently to meet production goals
Adapt quickly to new projects and product @types in a job shop environment
What You Bring
1+ year of mechanical or electro-mechanical experience
(mechanics, tire techs, construction, farm work, or hands-on hobbies all apply)
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
Ability to read blueprints and basic schematics
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and air tools
Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
Experience with low-voltage wiring or control panel assembly
Basic electrical or soldering experience
Prior work in a manufacturing or job shop environment
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication or equipment

Work Schedule & Environment
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
Overtime available (typically Fridays)
Fast-paced, high-variety job shop environment
Exceptionally clean, organized, and safety-focused shop

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
