What You'll Do
Prepare and serve a variety of meals for patients, residents, cafeteria guests, and catering needs
Review menus and ensure food is prepared daily that maintains food quality, appearance, and portion standards.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines
Keep kitchen, cooking, and dishwashing areas clean and organized
Properly store, label, and date food items
Deliver patient trays and nourishment items on time
Monitor and record refrigerator and dish machine temperatures
Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, trays, and utensils correctly
Assist with inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
Support patient satisfaction through teamwork, communication, compassion, and service exellence
What We're Looking For
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
Two years of restaurant or institutional food service experience preferred
Additional Skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Dependable with a strong commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction
Maintain reliable attendance
