Job Description
The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for customers, supporting order management, issue resolution, and overall client satisfaction. In this role, you work closely with sales, production, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from order placement through delivery, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and build strong, professional relationships.
Process customer orders from entry through completion, including accurate data entry, tracking, and updates in ERP systems.
Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, pricing, and shipping details.
Resolve customer issues, including order discrepancies, delays, and returns, in a timely and customer-focused manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation within CRM and ERP systems.
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, sharing customer feedback, and recommending practical solutions.
Assist with reporting and order analysis to provide insights into customer activity and operational performance.
Support customer communication initiatives, including proactive updates and follow-ups related to orders and service.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2+ years of customer service or order management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Demonstrated customer service skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Technical proficiency with business systems and tools used for order management and customer support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, supply chain, and manufacturing.
Proven ability to schedule and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and contribute to process improvements.
Ability to maintain professionalism and composure when handling complex or time-sensitive customer issues.
Comfort working with CRM systems and other customer-facing technologies.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You work closely with internal teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that relies on ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) to manage orders and customer interactions. The role involves primarily computer-based work, frequent communication by phone and email, and coordination with production and operations teams to support accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
