As a Security Officer Enhanced Office Building in Northville, MI , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Day Time

Tue01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting activity according to post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, warehouses, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unauthorized activity or operational concerns to the appropriate contact.

Support emergency response activities, assist with traffic and delivery coordination when needed, and complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
