DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Key Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll support growth and success by developing and maintaining high-value relationships with key customers across our portfolio. This role combines strategic business development, relationship management, and technical expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and execute complex deals while serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.

Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute account strategies that deliver exceptional value to customers while meeting revenue objectives. You'll build professional relationships with decision-makers and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure customer success. Success depends on your ability to understand complex customer requirements, negotiate sophisticated agreements, and support sustainable business growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive business plans, conducting regular business reviews, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategic initiatives to grow market share and customer loyalty. You'll collaborate across divisions to leverage Thermo Fisher's full capabilities, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers. Through proactive account management and innovative solutions, you'll help customers advance their critical work in making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of strategic account management experience in semiconductor or related industry

Preferred Fields of Study: Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

Additional relevant certifications in sales, account management, or related areas beneficial

Demonstrated success in developing and growing key account relationships at executive levels

Strong understanding of Semiconductor dynamics and market trends

Advanced negotiation and contract management skills

Excellent presentation and communication abilities

Experience coordinating matrix teams and collaborating across functions

Proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong analytical and business planning capabilities

Ability to travel up to 50% for customer engagement

Fluency in English required; additional language skills beneficial

Experience with consultative selling and complex sales cycles

Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic account plans

Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze business opportunities

Experience coordinating teams to deliver customer solutions
