POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Waco, TX facility manufactures aluminum ends/lids for beverage cans commonly used for soft drinks, beers, energy drinks, teas and non-carbonated beverages. Using state of the art end-making technology, this high-speed environment provides rewarding manufacturing opportunities.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Coordinator to manage our spare parts inventory, MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) supplies, and critical material flow within our high-speed aluminum end manufacturing facility. Beyond inventory accuracy and kitting for maintenance projects, this role is central to plant logistics. The Coordinator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to receive and stage heavy aluminum coils (raw materials), transport finished product from packaging lines, and load trailers for customer shipments. This role ensures that both the maintenance teams and production lines have the necessary components and materials to minimize downtime and meet shipping schedules.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL
Oversee all aspects of the MRO storeroom, including receiving, sorting, stocking, and issuing parts and materials to maintenance and production teams.
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting, physical inventory reconciliation, and immediate discrepancy resolution.
Manage parts for specialized, high-wear components specific to aluminum end production (e.g., tooling sets, servo motors, vision system components, and compounds).
FORKLIFT AND MATERIAL HANDLING
Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks to move heavy spare parts, motors, and palletized shipments.
Load and unload delivery trucks (UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers) ensuring all incoming freight is inspected for damage.
Transport and stage aluminum coils, tab stock coils (raw materials) and work in process (WIP) shell trays and other supplies to the production lines on schedule to prevent downtime.
Move finished product pallets from the packaging lines to the designated warehouse or staging areas.
Carefully load finished goods onto trailers for customer shipment, ensuring loads are balanced, secured, and documented according to shipping requirements.
Efficiently manage and organize the warehouse space, ensuring aisles and storage bays remain clear and accessible.
Transport received goods from the loading dock to high-rack storage or specific store room bins safely and efficiently
Perform daily pre-operation safety inspections on the forklift and report any maintenance needs immediately
PROCUREMENT AND SOURCING

COMPUTERIZED MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CMMS) DATA INTEGRITY
Utilize the CMMS (e.g., SAP) to accurately record all parts transactions (issues, returns, receipts) and maintain the integrity of item master data.
Create new part numbers, input vendor information, update bills of material (BOMs), and ensure accurate cost tracking for all MRO supplies.
Run reports on inventory turns, stock-outs, and consumption trends to optimize stocking strategies.
