Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead/Shipper to support an equipment rental operation by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and assisting with day-to-day warehouse activities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, safe material handling, and smooth warehouse workflow while working closely with a small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using a sit-down forklift.
Accurately pick, pull, and stage parts and equipment for customer orders and deliveries.
Handle and move materials weighing 50-75 lbs on a regular basis in a safe and controlled manner.
Verify shipment contents against packing lists and promptly report any discrepancies or damages.
Maintain organized inventory and storage areas to support efficient warehouse operations.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory tracking to ensure accurate stock records.
Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, packaging, and completing required documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, warehouse protocols, and company policies at all times.
Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and ensure timely order processing.
Adapt to support multiple warehouse functions as needed, including general material handling and shipping and receiving tasks.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in a shipping and receiving, warehouse, or equipment rental environment preferred.
Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift; prior certification is an asset.
Ability to consistently lift and move 50-75 lbs throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and documentation.
Solid organizational skills to maintain orderly inventory and storage areas.
Basic computer skills to support inventory tracking and shipping documentation.
Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
Experience working effectively in a small team setting with strong collaboration and communication.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification is considered a strong asset.
Experience in an equipment rental operation or similar industrial environment is an advantage.
Comfort working in a hands-on role that involves frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple warehouse functions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
