Customer Service Representative (Hybrid)Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support participants through phone and email interactions. In this role, you will gather and document participant information, resolve concerns efficiently, and provide education to improve user experience and minimize repeat inquiries. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on first-call resolution
Handle inbound phone calls, assigned email requests, and escalated inquiries
Accurately gather, document, and maintain participant information
Assist participants with registration and login issues
Guide users in navigating program-specific websites and private portals
Respond to general questions related to available applications and services
Collaborate with Account Management to resolve complex, non-routine issues
Support participants in completing surveys over the phone
Maintain detailed records of all interactions and follow-up actions
Educate participants to reduce future support needs and improve satisfaction
Required Skills
Strong customer service and issue resolution skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
Proficiency with computer systems and applications (MS Word, Excel)
Ability to multitask and manage multiple inquiries effectively
Professional phone presence, tone, and demeanor
Basic data entry and documentation experience
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years of experience in a call center, healthcare, insurance, or related environment (or transferable experience)
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
Successful completion of a drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish and English (highly preferred)
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or technical support environments
Work Environment & Schedule
Hybrid role (in-office and remote flexibility)
Must live within 1 hour of the office
Required to work in-office at least twice per week
Mandatory in-office training, with additional in-office time required immediately following training
Option available to work fully in-office if preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
