Customer Service Representative (Contract)
Location: 941 Avenida Acaso, Camarillo, CA 93012
Schedule: 8-hour shift (start time between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support one of the world's leading food diagnostic companies. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, call-center environment and has experience handling high-volume customer interactions, order processing, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, live chat, and e-commerce platforms
Process customer orders, returns, and repair requests accurately in ERP systems
Enter and track purchase orders, ensuring timely coordination with shipping and production teams
Generate and send paper and electronic invoices to customers
Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, order details, and basic technical support
Coordinate with Shipping, Production, Accounting, and Quality teams to ensure order accuracy and resolution
Manage and track instrument repair requests from initiation through completion
Handle irate customers professionally, resolving issues and de-escalating concerns
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
1-2+ years of customer service or support experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with customer database systems (MS Navision, MS CRM preferred)
Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle high call volumes in a fast-paced environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Order entry and ERP experience
Technical support or help desk background
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Sales or upselling experience
Strong written communication and email correspondence

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
