The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Corporate Counsel to join our Corporate Affairs and Legal Department. In this role, you will be a part of and report into the governance and compliance team and support public company and subsidiary governance matters and general compliance matters, including ethics reporting and monitoring. The Role
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage cross-functional legal and compliance projects and training, including working closely with HR and Global Learning teams to reinforce Hyatt's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other compliance policies
· Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting, legal regulations, and risk assessments
· Monitor ethics reporting and provide guidance to various stakeholders on compliance matters
· Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K, and Proxy Statement
· Ensure ongoing compliance with NYSE listing standards and evolving securities regulations
· Advise and assist on securities law matters, including Regulation FD, insider trading compliance, and Section 16 reporting
· Review and support earnings releases, investor presentations, press releases, and other external disclosures
· Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on disclosure and compliance programs
· Support global subsidiary governance matters
· Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Internal Audit, HR, Investor Relations, and Communications teams
· Work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and outside counsel on matters, as necessary, to accomplish legal and business objectives
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
· 5-7 years experience in a transactional practice in a law firm or an in-house legal department
Experience Preferred:
· Juris Doctorate degree and licensed to practice in a jurisdiction within the U.S.
· Leadership acumen and a track record of demonstrating these skills
· Demonstrated track record of accountability for outcomes
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely
· Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of cross-functional teams
· Willingness to take on matters outside your core expertise, learn new areas of law, and pitch in where needed to support the business
· Strong business and legal judgment with ability to make sound decisions
· High level of integrity and professional ethics

The salary range for this position is $160,000-$190,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
