Business Operations Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties: Oversee business operations, including operational systems, processes, and policies. Manage systems and infrastructure, drive the planning process, and develop financial, strategic, and operating plans. Ensure flawless operational processes at every production stage, from raw materials management to completed product distribution, ensuring efficient and high-standard cheese manufacturing. Develop and maintain a sustainable supply chain and manage long-term customer relationships. Analyze the market and competition to develop and introduce new products, optimize production workflows to meet quality and quantity goals. Monitor equipment, ensure reliable and neat work safety protocols, and implement and enforce safety and quality control procedures. Train and supervise employees and schedule required labor levels. Prepare and keep records of production data, quality control records, and safety reports. Requirements: Master\'s in Business Administration, Management, or related field. Extensive knowledge of the dairy/cheese production industry and clear understanding of cheese production techniques and equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot and identify issues. Solid knowledge or academic background in each of the following: business finance; business and marketing strategy; operations management; logistics; lean manufacturing; supply chain operations; brand management. Solid understanding of sanitation and food safety practices, including protocols required and overseen by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture and Consumer Protection. Good team building and leadership skills. Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflicts /disputes. Proficiency in using job-related software, including MS Office, Gantt chart, QuickBooks, Dairy Connect. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
