Experience performing manual labor, including demolition and debris removal.
Comfort working in hot conditions and in physically demanding environments.
Ability to remain on your feet and stay active for the entire shift.
Basic experience using hand tools, shovels, and other simple construction tools.
Reliable transportation to travel independently to various job sites.
Ownership and use of steel toe boots while on site.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience on commercial construction or demolition projects is an asset.
Experience working on school or similar institutional projects is beneficial.
Interest in growing into leadership roles such as foreperson or crew lead over time.
Why Work Here?
You will join a team that values hard work, reliability, and initiative, offering a strong opportunity to extend your employment beyond the busy summer season if you perform well. Consistently proving yourself on site can open doors to advancement into leadership roles, including opportunities to lead crews and take on more responsibility. This environment rewards those who show up, work safely, and contribute positively to the team, providing a clear path for growth for motivated individuals.
Work Environment
You will work on active commercial construction sites, with a primary focus on school projects, often in hot weather and physically demanding conditions. The role is entirely on-site and involves constant movement, lifting, and manual labor throughout the day. You will use basic construction tools such as hand tools, shovels, and brooms, and you will be required to wear steel toe boots as part of the site safety expectations.
