Our Construction & Infrastructure Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Broker to join our Chicago C&I Brokerage team.
This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week in the Chicago, IL office.

What the day will look like
Collaborating with Brokers and Account Executives to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business
Analyzing client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements; preparing and presenting marketing proposals for renewals and new business
Establishing, and maintaining strong relationships with the underwriting community for the ultimate benefit of the client
Negotiating with Underwriters for the best terms, conditions and competitive pricing for existing and new clients
Verifying all policies and documentation for accuracy in accordance with terms and conditions
Following up with insurer to confirm terms of negotiated contract are met
Approving documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals
Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing the importance of best practices; and
Performing other related duties as assigned

Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure
Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package
Education: Bachelor's degree in or equivalent years of industry experience.
Brokers or P&C license preferred, or to be obtained within 90 days of start date

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
