Job Title: Human Resources Administrator
Job Description
The Human Resources Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and data entry support to the HR function, ensuring employee records are accurate, complete, and up to date. This role maintains organized digital records, supports onboarding and employee engagement activities, and responds to internal HR inquiries with professionalism and clarity. The position requires strong administrative skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently in a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities
Enter employee data into designated HR systems with a high level of speed, accuracy, and completeness.
Review submitted documents for missing information, formatting errors, and inconsistencies, and ensure they meet HR standards.
Flag and correct data entry errors or discrepancies in collaboration with supervisors or employees.
Maintain organized digital records of time entries and employee information for audit, reporting, and compliance purposes.
Support HR administration activities, including onboarding, employee engagement, and general HR support tasks.
Respond to internal inquiries regarding HR procedures and processes in a timely and professional manner.
Provide administrative assistance to HR, including filing, document management, and record maintenance.
Use Microsoft Excel and HR systems to track, update, and report on HR data and metrics.
Assist with employee relations and employee engagement initiatives as needed.
Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders by providing clear, accurate, and helpful information.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in data entry and HR administration is highly desirable.
Strong administrative support experience, including handling documentation and records.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with spreadsheets and data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook for communication and scheduling.
Familiarity with HR systems and HR-related platforms such as Kronos, ADP, or Workday.
Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Customer service mindset with the ability to support internal employees and stakeholders.
Experience providing HR support, including HR administration and HR systems usage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate degree is preferred.
Employee relations history is a plus.
Experience with employee engagement activities is beneficial.
Experience with HR support functions such as onboarding and HR administration.
Experience with administrative assistance and general office administration.
Comfort working with HR platforms such as Kronos, ADP, or Workday.
Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, employees, and HR team members.
Strong filing and record-keeping skills for both digital and physical documents.
Work Environment
This is a fully in-office position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role operates in a professional office environment where the Human Resources Administrator works closely with HR and other internal teams. The position relies heavily on computer-based work, including extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and HR systems such as Kronos, ADP, or Workday. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
