Warehouse Operator

Pay: $25.41 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Job Description

General Summary: The Warehouse will support the warehouse area while following all company safety rules and regulations as it relates to the job.

Essential Functions:

Safely operate a forklift transporting components and finished goods pallets.

Ensure dock lock is engaged before entering trailer prior to loading or unloading materials.

Ensure carrier in door and carrier on pick list or Bill of Lading match prior to loading or unloading.

Able to pick and drop off components safely and stage them is designated areas using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) forklift mounted scanner gun with monitor.

Ensure 100% accuracy of finished goods order loading. Maintain cleanliness of plant.

Practice and maintain safe conditions throughout the shift. Report back to supervisor in what is deemed a timely manner when job duties are complete for the next assignment.

Receive components into WMS with 100% accuracy.

Ability to line return components accurately and according to company policy.

Participates in all job related safety training and personally complies with all safety policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Computer Skills:

Basic computer functions, knowledge of WMS or other warehouse management system.

Ability to read, write and speak English

Physical ability to handle pieces of freight that weigh at least 50 lbs.

Ability to drive a forklift and any other @type of material handling equipment

Basic math skills

Ability to work overtime when needed.

Education and Work Experience required:

Hight School Diploma or GED required

Must be able to drive a forklift.

Must be able to read and write in English.

Basic computer skills and good math, written, verbal and organizational skills.

Excellent hand -eye coordination required.

Must have good working knowledge of GMP's, SOP's, and JSA's

Compensation & Benefits

The US base salary for this full-time position is $25.41. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
