About this Job
This position serves as the confidential special assistant to the Administrator for the Non-depository Division of the Office of Financial Institutions (Chief Examiner AS-624). The division is responsible for licensing, regulation, and examination/enforcement involving eight (8) non-depository financial service provider industries with excess of 11,000 licensees and registrants. The incumbent prepares reports for the Chief Examiner's use in monitoring performance and efficiency of the division, maintains division records for surety bonds required for licensees, drafts administrative orders for suspension of those licenses when bonds expire, and reviews correspondence and receives telephone calls maintaining confidentiality and using independent judgment to determine if action is warranted and to whom the call or correspondence should be referred.

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
-Organizes Compliance Examiner's workload to ensure efficient and timely responses to questions and sensitive issues of a confidential nature. Directs any confidential inquiries, reports concerning disciplinary actions, promotions, and other personnel related matters to CE.
-Organizes, coordinates, and schedules appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. Coordinates, schedules, and sets up conference calls and webinars. Prepares and distributes agendas, materials, and exhibits for these.
-Maintains record of surety bonds required for licensure, monitors and processes cancellation notices, prepares appropriate correspondence for corrective action, and prepares orders of immediate suspension. Maintains the Non-depository Division's enforcement action database for all non-depository programs.

Compensation: The salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience within the established pay range.
