Job Title: Construction Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management and construction, with the ability to handle complex projects up to $15 million in scope.
Responsibilities
Manage the pre-construction, preplanning, and construction project scheduling process.
Review and approve project budgets, including labor, materials, and subcontractors, to allocate resources effectively.
Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Manage project finances, ensuring profitability and positive cash flow.
Lead strategic planning and manage project submittals, requests for information, and change orders.
Implement monthly cost reports and provide accurate cost projections.
Research and suggest construction means, methods, and timelines.
Recognize and implement change orders as necessary.
Approve payment supplier and subcontractor invoices.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.
Maintain and develop client relationships and identify upcoming work opportunities.
Oversee CAD, fabrication, and field labor resources required for projects.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Essential Skills
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
Strong leadership skills.
Proficiency in scheduling, logistics, and procurement of equipment and materials.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction office environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Projects, Office, Excel, and Word.
Experience with AutoBid, P6 Scheduler, and Bluebeam is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 10+ years of related experience and/or training.
5 years of experience in the construction field leading projects up to $15 million in scope.
Experience in Mechanical Construction, MEP, Mission Critical, Data Center, and Commercial projects.
Ability to prepare a SWOT Analysis for projects.
Experience in project management, construction management, RFI, change orders, estimation, and project engineering.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in Haskell, Texas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haskell, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $65.00/hr.
