Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports a busy warehouse environment by performing material handling, picking, packing, and general labor tasks while working safely around active forklift traffic and racking systems up to 40 feet high. You will operate stand-up forklifts and other powered equipment, use RF scanners to manage inventory, and ensure orders are accurately assembled, packaged, and prepared for shipment across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick products based on order tickets using RF scanners or pick lists.
Pack customer orders securely to ensure safe transport and delivery.
Verify order accuracy and inspect items for quality before shipment.
Prepare shipments by labeling, staging, and wrapping pallets as needed.
Operate stand-up forklifts, order pickers, and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
Safely retrieve and store materials at heights of up to 40 feet within warehouse racking.
Transport products and materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining safe pathways around active forklift traffic.
Perform general material handling duties, including loading, unloading, and moving wire, spools, and other products.
Support inbound operations by receiving, unloading, and stocking incoming shipments.
Support outbound operations by staging and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring deadlines are met.
Work in packing modules to assemble detailed orders and maintain high packaging accuracy.
Assist in the wiring department with more physically demanding tasks, including handling heavier materials and supporting specialized product preparation.
Use hand tools and power tools as required for cutting and preparing materials.
Maintain accurate inventory through proper scanning, labeling, and documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and warehouse best practices.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
Minimum 1 year of experience operating stand-up forklifts.
Ability to work comfortably and safely at heights up to 40 feet.
Ability to lift 20+ pounds repeatedly during the shift.
Experience with picking and packing orders in a warehouse setting.
Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory, picking, and order processing.
Experience with general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and material handling.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and product quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in inbound, outbound, or shipping and receiving roles.
Background working with wiring, spools, or similar materials.
Comfort working in different departments such as packing modules, inbound, outbound, or wiring.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate with other warehouse staff.
Reliability and flexibility to work assigned shifts and support overtime as needed.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, active warehouse with approximately 100 colleagues in the building and frequent forklift traffic moving through aisles and racks. The facility uses stand-up forklifts, order pickers, RF scanners, hand tools, and power tools to support daily operations. Work involves handling materials such as wire, spools, and various products, with storage racks reaching heights of up to 40 feet. Multiple shift options are available, including 1st shift inbound roles (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.), 2nd shift outbound roles (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.), 2nd shift wire department roles (3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.), and 2nd shift custom assembly roles (1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.). The environment is fast-paced and physically active, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and efficient material flow.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
