Job Description
The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations by inspecting incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and preparing parts for storage and shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with computer systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling aircraft parts. The position is contract-to-hire, with the conversion timeline influenced by attitude, attendance, and performance.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet required standards and are accompanied by proper documentation.
Enter and receive part data in the inventory database, ensuring all information is detailed, accurate, and up to date.
Record, organize, and file trace documents in both electronic systems and hard copy files in appropriate locations.
Locate and pull material for inspection, internal use, or outbound shipment as requested.
Prepare, package, and label materials for storage or shipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
Clean and prepare parts as instructed to meet quality and safety requirements.
Perform physical inventory counts as directed to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
Relocate materials within the warehouse to consolidate stock and optimize storage utilization.
Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and workstations, including regular housekeeping tasks.
Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assessments as directed to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Use computer systems and inventory software to track materials, update records, and support reporting needs.
Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of warehouse activities.
Perform other related duties and special assignments as requested to support overall warehouse operations.
Work overtime when available and as needed based on business and operational requirements.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory processes, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications and databases.
Strong typing skills and general computer literacy for accurate data entry and record keeping.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and handle materials safely throughout the workday.
Ability to maintain accurate records, review documents for completeness and correctness, and organize documentation effectively.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with coworkers, leadership, and other departments.
Ability to be flexible, self-directed, and motivated in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support shared operational goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with inventory databases or warehouse management systems.
Familiarity with handling and storing technical or specialized parts, such as aircraft components.
Demonstrated ability to participate in audits, inspections, and quality assessments.
Proven track record of reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Comfort working in a structured environment with established processes and documentation requirements.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment handling aircraft parts, where safety, organization, and cleanliness are essential. The standard schedule is a first-shift assignment, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime available based on business needs. The work involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, moving materials, and working on your feet for extended periods. The warehouse utilizes computer systems, inventory databases, and Microsoft Office applications to manage stock, documentation, and reporting. Employees work in a structured setting that emphasizes accurate documentation, traceability, and quality standards typical of aerospace-related operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
