Journeyman Ironworker - Jackson - Jackson, Alabama (Job Number: 568426)

We are seeking a disciplined experienced craft Ironworker with competencies in Riggings, Fastening, Drilling, and Demolition located in Jackson, AL. Pay rate offered between $21-$34/hour based on experience, and Per Diem available if qualified.

As a Journeyman Ironworker you will contribute to our team by having experience in:

Mag Drill Use, working from heights without the use of a man basket

Basic rigging, air chisel use

Torch cutting

Rivet Busting

Rigging

Bolting

Mag Drill Operation

2 years ironworking experience preferred

What you will bring to this role:

Required tools: Measuring tape (at least 15ft), speed square, Torpedo level, Bull pin, Crescent spud

Mini sledgehammer (weight of your preference), Sledgehammer (weight of your preference), Sleever bar, 1 1/4" spud, 1 7/16" spud, 1 5/8" spud

Experience relating to Movable Bridges or Millwright a plus.

Must be safety minded.

Knowledge of OSHA requirements related to marine work, cranes, and rigging.

Successful candidates must pass a drug screen and physical before beginning work.
