Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a high-volume customer onboarding effort for a municipal service program in Petersburg, Virginia. This is a Contract position focused on assisting a large number of households by answering inbound calls, collecting account details, and ensuring each customer is accurately set up for service. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a fast-paced call environment, delivering helpful service, and maintaining accuracy while handling sensitive billing and address information.

Responsibilities:

Respond to a steady flow of inbound customer calls and provide clear, courteous support throughout the onboarding process.

Guide residents through account setup by gathering required details such as name, service address, and billing information.

Enter customer information into internal systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Assist with new customer enrollment efforts tied to a large-scale municipal service rollout.

Use reference materials and process guides to answer questions and complete transactions consistently.

Handle approximately 50 to 75 calls per day while maintaining service quality and efficiency.

Coordinate with internal teams as needed to support outreach and customer onboarding activities. Requirements - Prior experience in call center or customer service roles involving high-volume inbound calls.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of customers.

Experience entering orders, account details, or customer records into a computer system.

Strong attention to detail when collecting personal, address, and billing information.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily call volume expectations.

Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new tools and reference materials quickly. TalentMatch®
