Accounting Intern - Summer 2026

Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week

Job Description:

IntelliDyne, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team for Summer 2026. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment. The Accounting Intern will work closely with the Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations while developing a foundational understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and government contracting finance practices.

Responsibilities:

Review and maintain the AP inbox to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders and employee expense reports, including obtaining appropriate approvals.

Support accounts receivable activities, including entering cash receipts and updating customer payment records.

Assist with credit card reconciliations by reviewing transactions and gathering supporting documentation.

Review employee timesheets for completeness and accuracy and assist with timesheet follow-up as needed.

Support the accounting team with administrative and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Participate in training opportunities to develop accounting knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

0-1 years of accounting, finance, or related work experience.

Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Eagerness to learn and develop professional accounting skills.

Prior internship, coursework, or experience with accounting software is a plus but not required.
