Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Location: Wadsworth, OH
Pay Range: $25.00-$31.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-1:00 AM
Current Schedule: 48 hours per week with mandatory overtime on Fridays (up to 8 hours)
Training Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM-4:00 PM

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production operations and ensure manufacturing equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities supporting production operations.
Ensure manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel on opposite shifts to ensure continuity of repairs and projects.
Coordinate with production teams regarding downtime and repair timelines.
Perform electrical installation and repair of outlets, lighting, fans, building fixtures, conduit, wiring, and machinery hookups.
Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair components, test systems, and adjust machinery as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
Work safely with electrical systems and testing equipment up to 480V.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
Assist engineering teams with installation, startup, and debugging of new automated equipment.
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and safe operation of mobile equipment.
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor controls.
Ability to install, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial equipment using schematics and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
Ability to work the required shift schedule and overtime as needed.
Preferred
Associate degree, apprenticeship, or formal training in Maintenance Technology or a related field.
Additional trade certifications.
Experience in metal stamping, forming, forging, or similar manufacturing environments.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated machinery.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Onsite manufacturing environment.
Frequent walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and use of PPE.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Compensation & Benefits
