As a Security Officer - Active DoD Clearance Required in SAN DIEGO, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report discrepancies in accordance with post orders and location policies.

Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
