A&P Mechanic

Job Description:

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft repairs and modifications as required.

Conduct inspections per maintenance programs, inspection packages, and modification requirements.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve aircraft system malfunctions.

Provide ongoing status updates to supervisor or lead technician.

Maintain clean and organized work areas, following good housekeeping practices.

Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards.

Perform system functional tests and accurately interpret technical prints and manuals.

Promote safety by performing only authorized work within established procedures.

Complete assigned tasks within established standards and estimated time frames.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.

Essential Skills

Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license .

3 years of aircraft maintenance experience .

Ability to understand and interpret airframe manuals, engineering drawings, and technical prints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working on business aircraft (preferred but not required).

FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates required .

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
