You will interact with customers and staff, respond to site needs, and deliver strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, and/or visitors while following site protocols for deliveries, restricted areas, and after-hours activity.

Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow all post orders, use of force guidelines, and applicable laws while supporting a professional armed presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A Guard Card/License is preferred.

An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
